Clinical Placement:

IHNA Skilldemy’s course also offers job assistance for eligible students. On successful completion of this qualification, students may get a job placement in the relevant industry. This is a unique feature that can provide peace of mind to students who are looking to transition into the disability sector.

Students can avail of RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) , to reduce their course duration. RPL assesses your competency(s) that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning or direct work experience to determine if you meet the required skills and knowledge specified in a training package.

IHNA Skilldemy’s course is designed in consultation with industry experts, ensuring that the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant to the current disability sector. This helps students to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work.

BLENDED

The course is provided through Blended mode of delivery, which includes classroom training, Industrial training and visit, Simulation. 

25 to 30 contact hours per week will be delivered through synchronised learning.

Besides the above structured learning, students are advised that they will be required to do approximate 15 hours per week of unstructured learning.

The simulation training is for review of the learning activities, practicing communication, work-based skills, management skills and to undertake other assessments e.g.: group presentation/individual presentation.

Our approach is to collect evidence on whether the student can perform to the standards of the workplace. This is based on the relevant unit of competency, and you’ll find these tools being used:

• Knowledge Based Assessments (KBA)
• Simulation Based Assessments (SBA)
• Professional Experience Placement (PEP)

2. Interview: Once you’ve met SALAF’s eligibility criteria you will be contacted for an interview with an admissions director
3. Offer Letter: If you’re successful with the interview you will be offered a place for the course as per the availability of each intake.
4. Enrolment Fee: After signing the offer acceptance an invoice will be issued for the course. You may be eligible for government funding, so please call our team to know more.
5. Confirmation of Admission: We will issue a conformation of admission once the enrolment fee has been received.
